PAT BALDWIN is in talks with Colchester United with a view to prolonging his stay as a U’s player.
Baldwin has been ever-present since Paul Lambert took over at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and both he and the club are keen for him to pen a new deal.
Speaking to BBC Essex, Baldwin revealed: ‘I’ve spoken to the manager and he’s said he wants me to stay and I’d like to think we can get something sorted.’
The 26-year-old, who has been in North Essex since 2002, is likely to be one of a group of players who stays this summer but a large handful are set to depart.
So is Baldwin a player you’d like to see stay?
