Pat Baldwin is getting closer to making his Colchester first team return after coming through a reserve game on Tuesday.

Baldwin was part of a strong U’s side that narrowly beat Harlow Town to take up a place in the semi finals of the Essex Senior Cup.

The defender has been out since sustaining a fractured toe in October.
