Colchester United manager Aidy Boothroyd has admitted that Norwich City’s visit is an exciting match for many involved but is also just another 90 minutes of football.
Paul Lambert his high-flying side visit the Weston Homes Community Stadium this afternoon; forming one of the most highly-anticipated games of the season.
Speaking to the official website, Boothroyd said: ‘Every game is an important game and we look to go out and win each time we take to the pitch.
‘It is a local derby, given a bit of spice by the result at the start of the season.’
The former Watford boss has continued the U’s hot start to the season, with the Essex side vying for promotion against the Canaries.
‘It is an exciting match, but it is just another football match and one we want to win,’ he concluded.
