Paul Lambert kept his Colchester United players behind in the dressing room after their thrashing by Scunthorpe last weekend.
Both BBC Essex and the East Anglian Daily Times noted that the side were detained by some twenty minutes after the full-time whistle.
When asked what was said, Lambert refused to crisis his team publically: “They know what I`m felling,” said the Scot on the radio.
The EADT carries this quote from the manager: “The second-half performance was about as poor as I’ve seen since I’ve been at the club. It was disappointing for everyone, the players and the fans who come to watch us.”
So was Lambert right to let the team know his feelings after the game?
