Colchester Players Rest in Spain

With Colchester out of the FA Cup, manager Geraint Williams has taken advantage of the break to fly his side to spain for some R&R.

Assistant manager Mick Harford said the players will still train as they prepare for back-to-back home games against Preston and Birmingham.

‘We’re going away to rest their legs for a bit with a gap until the next game,’ said Harford.

‘There are training facilities so we’ll be doing plenty of training, and we’ll also have some team meetings and get some camaraderie and team spirit going. It’s a thoroughly-deserved break.’
