Talk about another ‘six-pointer’ for Colchester today, it’s a massive one and definitely a must win game against relegation rivals Scunthorpe.

Scunthorpe will come to the Weston Homes Community Stadium with more confidence of staying up and we’ll know that if we don’t win our chances are slipping away as we look to bounce back from a thrashing.

Colchester ‘keeper Sam Walker (knee) wasn’t able to make it for the six-nil defeat against Chesterfield on Tuesday, having failed a fitness test but he hopes to be fit for this one.

Captain David Fox (foot) is doubtful once again with Rhys Healey, Richard Brindley and Sammie Szmodics all hoping for recalls.

Scunthorpe could give Kyle Wootton and Hakeeb Adelakun starts but Theo Robinson (birth of his child) might miss out but following injury Alex Davey (calf strain) may come back.

It’s basically a make or break game now, this isn’t a game we can afford to lose but a point wouldn’t do us much good! Can we get the win?
