Chris Coyne could complete his protected move to Australian club Perth Glory if he agrees a deal this weekend.

The 30-year-old Colchester United skipper has reportedly had a three-week offer from them on the table for some time now.

David Mitchell, coach at The Glory, told the West Australian today that the club would probably know for certain “by the end of the weekend” what the player has decided.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that interest spanning several continents has emerged for the defender, capped seven times in the space of a year by his country.

Offers have been lodged from as far as Korea, China & Middle East for the Colchester player.

Michel Mitchell: “It`s still up in the air really, we don`t know. He`s got some issues over there at the club. We`ve made an offer and there`s a few other clubs in the mix, so as of yet we don`t know.”

So this situation is still nowhere near being sorted! What do you think?
