Then again, snap opinions are always about as reliable as betting odds. But which I mean not very reliable at all.
Maybe those really in the smart money kept it in their pockets. There were quite a few thousand stay-aways, by the look of the low 3,308 attendance.
Following the weekend`s astounding 7-1 win against Norwich, this poll’s vote fell in Colchester`s favour for a win, although almost as many tipping Williams` men for vicotry also predicted that the fixture might be a non-event.
So mayvbe the great surfing pblic are better informed than Vital U’s has been making out.
Perhaps the only – and we`ve been through it with a fine-toothed comb in our match report – noteworrthy happening, in the end, was a frustrating dismissal for U’s striker, Clive Platt.
