Central Defender Pat Baldwin says Colchester need to defend better if they are to progress in the Championship.
Baldwin said: ‘ We know teams are going to punish us at this level if we help them by shooting ourselves in the foot.
‘We defended well as we have done all season at Blackpool but we went to sleep on two set pieces and it cost us all three points.’
Manager Geraint Williams felt his side had been carless at defending set pieces, demanding that things tighten up if his side are to progress above last seasons 10th position finish!

Our defence ain’t been the best In recent weeks, we need to tighten up and hopefuly get 4+ points from the next 2 games.
