Phil Ifil, who you may remember is a Colchester United player, pulled on a MK Dons shirt last night.

The out-of-favour full-back featured for The Dons last night, against Wolves, at stadium:mk. Boss Paul Lambert has made it clear that Ifil will not play another game for the U’s and is free to move on.

Ifil, a former England U20 representative, joined the U’s for a fee, which had potential to be a club record, 18 months ago. However, as the U’s slipped out of the Championship and back into League One, Ifil failed to settle in the side.

And now Ifil, who has 2-years left to run on his current contract, along with a number of other players look set to make an exit from the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

So do you think Ifil will fit in with The Dons?

Expected big things from him, but unfortunatly it never worked out. Mainly due to him putting on weight and becoming slow.

Yep, he’s a defender – but he cant defend! Another waste of money!

Who?! Yeah, give the club a few K and then he’ll be off, I should say!
