Former Colchester United left-back Curtis Haynes-Brown is set to join up with the Ipswich Town squad for a pre-season trial.

Haynes-Brown, who was rejected by Colchester as a youngster, now plys his trade with Ipswich Wanderers and he recently featured in their game against Wille Donachie’s Antigua and Barbuda.

It is understood that Town manager Jim Magilton is looking for a new left-back with Dan Harding currently out-of-favour with the Irishman – Haynes-Brown could potentially provide a cheap solution
