Boyhood Dagenham and Redbridge watcher, Jamie Guy, says he would consider playing permanently for the side, although admits he is a West Ham supporter.
The 21-year-old goal-getter has performed well since joining John Still`s League Two side, initially for a month, and is open to the possibility of signing a permanent deal in future.
“I was born in Barking and brought up in Dagenham,” said Guy in the Barking and Dagenham Recorder last week.
“I went to Eastbrook School which is just down the road from the ground and although I`m a West Ham fan, I’ve always been over to Dagenham when the Hammers weren’t playing.”
Guy said he will be considering his options, knowing that he has another full year to run on his current Colchester contact.
The forward explained that he “wouldn`t rule out a move,” because it is something he is interested in.
. Guy has spent most of the season on loan with Oxford.
Do you think Guy has a future at Colchester, or are his U’s days nmbered?

Good luck to him if he does make the move permanent. It would be a shame as I think he is a good player with a bright future but he doesn’t seem to feature in Lamberts plans. I think a drop down a division coupled with regular games will see him score plenty. The Daggers gain could well be our loss.
Yeah, like certain aspects of his play but his off the field problems and attitude are a bit disappointing. Can’t see him having a future here.
