Former Colchester United front-man Chris Iwelumo looks set to miss the start of his Premier League dream.
The Scottish international has been confirmed to have broke his metatarsal, only 18 minutes into Wolves pre-season campaign. Iwelumo, 31, now looks set to miss the start of the new season – after eventually getting a well-deserved chance to play in England’s elite league.
Wolves ran out 1-0 winners, against Perth Glory, who U’s man Chris Coyne has just rather ironically agreed to join.
Vital Colchester would like to wish Chris the best of luck in his recovery.

Well, that’s that, then. Wolves beating Perth should show Coyne all he needs to know. Good luck, Big Chris! How long will he be out for?
… three months!
Yep, think he deserves a crack at the Premier League.
