Colchester United loanee Matt Heath has agreed to stay at Layer Road until the end of the season.
The Leeds centre-half was due to return to Elland Road after the U’s game with Leicester City this weekend, as his one-month loan deal was due to expire.
Heath will now be in North Essex till after the U’s final day match with Scunthorpe, after manager Geraint Williams extended the deal.

Good news, out of contract in the summer so reckon he will join permanantly! Up the U’s!
Could be a good signing, have you seen him play? Virgo on the way out, maybe?
Yeah seen him play a couple of times, not the fastest but all round quite good, especially in the air!
Yeah dunno where he’s been in the last two games!
