Hull Get Their Man…

The official club site announced today, ‘Phil Parkinson is set to become Hull City boss after the two clubs agreed a compensation figure on Thursday afternoon.’

‘The U’s Chairman Peter Heard and his Hull counterpart Adam Pearson, along with their respective legal teams have been thrashing out the details over the past few days and finally agreed the amount required to release manager Phil Parkinson from his contract at Layer Road.’

Vital Colchester can reveal that City chief Adam Pearson decided on Thursday to pay a rumoured £400,000 compensation to United for the 38-year-old, who then had his resignation accepted by Heard.

So there you have it. The real question remains, ‘who will manage us?’
