Johnnie Jackson!

After spells at Coventry, Derby County and Watford…. Johnnie Jackson moves into the heat of Layer Road and out of the cold at White Hart Lane…

Johnnie Jackson has signed on a free from Premiership moguls Tottenham Hotspur.

All jokes aside, he will be a welcome addition and Col U are fortunate to get him. What his long term plan is and how much it involves this club is another matter.

Whilst no wages are public knowledge at this stage, our opinion here is that at 23 he is here to play football and get himself noticed.

He does have goals in him and the ability to play the ball into the front men as he has ably demonstrated for Spurs reserves – who, incidentally won the Premiership Reserves Title.

He’ll have obviously learnt a bit at his previous three loan clubs, so lets hope he can put that to good use for you.

Jackson was never going to get a game at WHL simply because Spurs have moved up a level in quality in the last 18 months…He has no pace but a sweet left foot & as you would expect from a Spurs player he has good technical skills..He also has a good work ethic & will battle for you…Good Luck JJ

As a Spurs fan I’ve watched him for years and can tell you it is a great signing for you guys. He’s pretty quick and a great crosser of the ball. Skillful and really gets stuck in. On a free as well?! Really great signing.

Spurs fan here as well – its a great signing fellas, always on the fringes at WHL but will shine in the lower leagues. Try and find the goal he scored against Charlton a couple of seasons back – should make you smile! Good luck next season guys.
