PAUL LAMBERT is thought to be interested in signing Shrewsbury Town defender Kelvin Langmead.
The Colchester United chief is known to be in the market for a new defender, as he attempts to re-build the U’s squad. Fellow League One side Oldham Athletic, along with Town’s League Two rivals Crewe Alexandra, are all thought to be taking an interest.
The 24-year-old’s contract at the Prostar Stadium expires this summer, and while he continues to stall over extending his stay, a move to the U’s could occur.
Langmead’s representative Jesse Learoyd-Hill told SkySports.com: ‘We have talked to a few clubs in League One, but as it stands nothing has been decided regards Kelvin’s future.’
Langmead is the latest in a long list of potential signings to be linked with the U’s, with only two deals being confirmed so far.
So what are your views on Langmead?
