Colchester’s League 1 season continues against Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium on Saturday; with this a 3pm kick-off.

A winless start to the season has seen Colchester sit in, an all too familiar, place at the lower end of the table but Tony Humes has received the backing of the owner ahead of this game after some calls for him ‘to be sacked’ as U’s boss.

Sordell and Jones have arrived ahead of the game as Colchester look to defeat a Chesterfield side, who will be favourites as the home side, that have reacted well to the loss of their own boss with Dean Saunders coming in to have them just outside the play-offs at this stage!

The full fixtures this weekend are:-

Sat 12 Sep 2015 – League One
Barnsley v Swindon 15:00
Burton v Rochdale 15:00
Chesterfield v Colchester 15:00
Crewe v Millwall 15:00
Fleetwood v Bradford 15:00
Gillingham v Blackpool 15:00
Oldham v Peterborough 15:00
Port Vale v Wigan 15:00
Scunthorpe v Coventry 15:00
Sheff Utd v Bury 15:00
Southend v Shrewsbury 15:00
Walsall v Doncaster 15:00

The U’s will hope for a positive result, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Humes goes with expectancy will be high however ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Colchester win
Chesterfield win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
