Colchester’s League 1 season continues against Gillingham at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Saturday; with this a 3pm kick-off.

If Colchester can’t take confidence into this game from a first league win of the campaign, when Sheffield United were beaten three-two at Bramall Lane in midweek despite the Blades coming back from two-down to level, then the U’s will never have this!

Gillingham sit top of the table though and are unbeaten, then again so too were the Blades before Tuesday!

The full fixtures this weekend are:-

Sat 19th September
Blackpool v Barnsley 15:00
Bury v Port Vale 15:00
Colchester v Gillingham 15:00
Coventry v Chesterfield 15:00
Doncaster v Oldham 15:00
Millwall v Southend 15:00
Peterborough v Walsall 15:00
Rochdale v Scunthorpe 15:00
Shrewsbury v Crewe 15:00
Swindon v Burton 15:00
Wigan v Fleetwood 15:00

Sun 20th September
Bradford v Sheff Utd 12:00

The U’s will hope for another positive result, like the midweek one, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Humes goes with expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Colchester win
Gillingham win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
