Colchester United have received a boost ahead of this evening`s Championship game against Leicester City, with care-taker manager Frank Burrows admitting that his team are “down to the bare bones.”
The selection headache comes as captain Steven Clemence and young maestro James Wesolowski are both ruled out in midfield, as well as Iain Hume, whose muscle strain keeps him from playing.
Winger Levi Porter, who also shone recently, will miss out due to ligament damage that rules him out until the turn of the year.
On the positive front, City will start with Carl Cort and Collins John, the latter on loan from Fulham, which is potentially a Premier League paring.
