Colchester United striker Kevin Lisbie has been linked with a move to neighbour’s Ipswich Town.
Lisbie, who struck 17 goals last season, is likely to cost Town around £750,000, with any fee possibly rising to £1,000,000. Now with the U’s looking ahead to a season of League One football, following last season’s bottom-placed finish, Lisbie might well take the chance to make an instant return to the Championship.
The 29-year-old joined on a free transfer from Charlton last summer, replacing Jamie Cureton.
The U’s are rumoured to be already eyeing a replacement for the Jamaican international, with Cheltenham’s Steven Gillespie a target.

lol, Wilnis aint even yours you released him! If that happenend I wouldn’t be happy!
He would be a big loss, but imagine how many good players for League One standard you could buy with best part of £1 million.
