Kevin Lisbie, who netted his third header when scoring for Colchester United against his former team, Charlton Athletic, has admitted that he wants to start scoring with his feet.
The 28-year-old, who has received praise for his hot form from his manager Geriant Williams, also admitted that he will attempt to dissuade his son David from taking up football.
Lisbie is quoted this week as saying: “It was a big day for my little boy. He has spent five years watching me play for Charlton – he was happy that I scored, so I couldn`t help celebrating. It`s the best feeling I`ve had for several months.”
Lisbie went on to say he considers heading to be a secret weapon in his striking artillery, although, as his first three goals for Colchester have all been headers, it seems the surprise is out.
Of his son David, Lisbie also revealed yesterday: “If I can get him away from football, I will.”

I didn’t think of him as that much of an arial when he came In, but if he score’s for the U’s i don’t care how he score’s.
his a good player he gave us (liverpool) a beating a few years ago
Yeah heard about that, yeah looks a good signing on a free.
It shows that heading us about technique over height. He’s got pace, too.
He will do OK
Yeah should get in between 10-15 goals if he stays fit.
