Highly-regarded Lloyd James has completed a transfer to Colchester United following a three-game trial since his recent release from Southampton.
The Welsh youth international midfielder spent four years at St. Mary`s, making more than seventy appearances for the South Coast side.

Lloydy, will do you guys good, personally dissapointed to hear him being released at Saints, but we are on a mission !!! Lloyd played really well up until he got an injury halfway through last season where he regularly started, but when he came back from injury he seemed a little of the pace, i wish him well, and hope he does really well for the ‘U’s
I second that post. I was a little surprised he was let go. Good luck to him at yours.
Good, sounds like we have a good signing! He’s young and ready to go… Up The U’s!
Yeah, pleased to have him. Never done a great deal at Braintree on Saturday but then again no one did!
