Gavin Massey has joined Colchester on loan from Watford.

The striker, as our friends at Vital Watford inform us, has come in on loan for an initial month but this can be extended on a month by month basis as wfc123 writes:

Young striker Gavin Massey has moved back out on loan today, joining League One Colchester on a month’s youth loan.

The 19 year-old forward scored his first two goals in professional football against the U’s whilst on loan at Yeovil Town earlier in the season.

Under the terms of a youth loan, Massey’s stay in Essex can be extended on a month-by-month basis as his previous deal with the Glovers had been until Gary Johnson’s return.

Speaking to the Official Site, Sean Dyche expressed his delight that the striker was heading out on loan once more:

‘We’re really pleased with how Gav’s done this season.

‘This is a great chance for him to kick on and put into practise what he’s learnt at Yeovil.’

Good luck Gavin!
