The October nominations for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award are:

Neil Aspin (Port Vale)
Arrived in Burslem with Vale stuck on five points from 11 games. Three wins from five League Two fixtures later, including a 1-0 triumph at promotion-chasing Exeter, and Aspin`s new team had built both its confidence and points tally.

Mark Cooper (Forest Green Rovers)
Life in the EFL didn`t seem easy with Rovers bottom in September. There was no panic from Cooper, though. A draw at leaders Notts County was followed by victories at Coventry and Stevenage, part of a 10-point haul from five games.

Nathan Jones (Luton Town)
Has built a side full of attacking intent, as shown by their 13-5 goal differential in collecting 10 points from five games. A 7-1 home win over Stevenage was followed three days later by a 4-1 victory at promotion rivals Exeter.

John McGreal (Colchester United)
Patience with his players and belief in himself have been key in quietly turning around his team`s fortunes with an impressive October return of 10 points from five games to lift them to the fringes of the play-off positions.

Winners will be announced on Friday 10th October 2017.
