1. How do you rate our chances on Saturday at Turf Moor?

I think you are maybe playing us at a bad time. We lost to Wolves, then got knocked out of the cup at home to Hartlepool, so we will be looking to prove a point on Saturday, and normally our home form is good, so I think we should be able to get a result.

2. Where do you think our respective teams will finish come May?

I think Colchester can stay up, if you can get results at home. Obviously, when you came up, you would have wanted first and foremost to survive.

Burnley are a good example to promoted clubs. Its our 7th season at this level now, and most would have thought we’d have gone down by now, operating on small squads and budgets, but we have shown it can be done. Burnley on the other hand is a tricky one, if we keep players fit, and keep our squad in the window, a top ten finish could be hoped for.

3. Who do you think will win the Championship and why?

A tough one, but my money would be on WBA or Brum. Both have spent well, and have strong squads from last season. WBA made a clanger in my view by letting Earnshaw go, he would have scored goals for them given a chance, and certainly would have in this league. But my money is on one of those two.

4. Who do you rate as your star man, and why should we be aware of him?

Alan Mahon. He is a class act when he is on his game, lethal from set pieces, and pulls the strings in our attacking play. IF he is on his game, he will cause anyone problems.

5. Out of the Colchester players that you know, who do you think will cause you the most problems?

Jamie Cureton. He has scored a lot of goals in his career, and hes started well for you with 3 in five in the league. Hes a classy striker, and a good finisher.
