Colchester United gained their 2nd away win of the season and their first win in 8 games away to Sheffield Wed today.

Teddy Sheringham scored within the first minute to set the U’s on their way, with want away defender George Elokobi adding a second soon later.

The Owls rallied towards the end of the first half pulling a goal back just before the break through Sodje.

Colchester whethered an early storm in the second period and could of and should have extended their lead with Elokobi, Izzet and Yeates all going close.

Prior to the game manager Geriant Williams had stated that he would not panic into playing a differant style and that the players would continue to play the game ‘the right way’

Following this performance the U’s can be bouyed going into Tuesdays home game against Watford at Layer Road, and the ‘right way’ is the only way to play the game.
