Colchester boss Geraint Willimas after the 0-0 draw at Cardiff City.
‘Cardiff are a good side and will be in there at the end of the season as Dave Jones is doing a good job.’
Crystal Palace have striker James Scowcroft available after suspension, but he may be kept out by Shefki Kuqi and Dougie Freedman’s good form.
Danny Butterfield is out with a groin injury and he is likely to be replaced at right-back by Matt Lawrence.
The Republic Of Ireland international striker is still scoring goals in a struggling Palace side.
Aidan Davison returns from a chest injury but may not replace Dean Gerken in goal.
Marino Keith is still out but remains the U’s only injury concern.
The U’s right back will want to impress Palace manager Peter Taylor. Taylor is also the England U21 manager and Greg Halford will want to get into that side.
