Colchester United have had a second bid for 18-year-old QPR forward Ray Jones rejected in the space of two days, according to both official websites.
The London club explained that the club was, “building a bright future and that means keeping our best players,” while actaul amount of the improved offer has not been made public.
Meanwhile, the U`s owner Robbie Cowling said: “Negotiations with other players George (Geraint Williams) are ongoing and we are sure that there will be some positive transfer news over the coming weeks.”

I think he would have been worth the money, but the U’s obviosuly have to respect QPR’s wishes. I wonder who the ‘other transfer targets’ are?
