Carl Pentney has left Colchester for another loan spell with non-league outfit Chelmsford City.

The U’s keeper has joined the Blue Square South side on loan for a month, having played 13 games for them on loan last season.

With first choice keeper Stuart Searle injured and Joe Woolley leaving the club recently the 22-year-old will go straight into their side for a league game tonight.
