Colchester United forward Clive Platt has spoken to both the Evening Gazette and East Anglian Daily Times this week about his side`s frustrating lack of points this season due to drawn games, but says he thinks there will be a turning point.

Platt, the club`s record signing, said in the Evening Gazette that he did not think wholesale changes were in order to ensure improvement upon the current Championship plaing of 13th.

He said: “We’ve played so well in a lot of games but our points don’t reflect that.

“But if we carry on playing like we have been and eradicate the mistakes we’ll be fine.”

Platt, who has scored three goals so far, concluded in the Gazette: “I don’t think we need to change too much, just a few little changes will do.”
