Colchester United are rumoured to be interested in signing released Barnsley defender, Paul Reid.
Reid, 26, was yesterday freed by the Yorkshire club, following a four-year spell at Oakwell. Reid captained the Tykes, as they won promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in 2006. Reid, a former England U19 international, stands at 6ft 2in.
