Colchester recorded an impressive home win over Oldham on Saturday.

Wordsworth (1) gave Colchester a dream start when he fired them ahead after only a minute although Oldham were level when a penalty was converted by Reid (37).

It looked like the scores would be level at half time but a penalty deep into 1st half injury time a penalty was converted by Wordsworth (45+5) to give The U’s the lead again.

Just after the break Henderson (46) added another with a 4-1 win secured when Heath (56) also scored.
