Stopper Signs New Deal

Dean Gerken who cemented his place in the team last term has signed a new contract as Colchester secure his services.

Rumours had it that Gerken had been keen to follow the likes of Wayne Brown and Jamie Cureton out of the Layer Road exit, these have tuned out to be unfounded as the stopper signed a new deal prior to the squad leaving for Ireland.
