Top-Flight Giants Want Medy

Premiership giants Liverpool and Newcastle are preparing summer bids for U’s star Medy Eltio, according to a report in today’s Daily Mirror.

Eltio, who is a England Under-18 international, has been a regular in the U’s first team of late. The left winger’s rise to the U’s first team has been a rare bit of positive news in what has been a terrible season.

So with the U’s playing League One football next season, could Eltio jump ship with a move to St. James Park or Anfield?
