Jamie Guy yesterday completed a three-month loan move to League Two side Port Vale.
The Colchester United forward has struggled for fitness and games, once again, so moves out in search of regular football. After getting a chance, like every other U’s player, under boss Aidy Boothroyd, Guy failed to impress, albeit due to his lack of fitness.
Guy, who has had a previous loan spell with Dagenham & Redbridge, links up with former U’s assistant Micky Adams at Vale Park.
Vital Colchester would like to wish Jamie the best of luck during his time with Vale.
