COLCHESTER UNITED will be hoping to make it consecutive wins, with tomorrow’s trip to Tranmere Rovers.

Following last week’s 2-0 win, Aidy Boothroyd’s first in charge, the U’s will be looking to push on up League One.

The home side have endured a tough start to the season, under manager John Barnes, but will be hopeful for a change in fortunes.

Stopper Luke Daniels (knee) is hopeful of being fit, however, Bas Savage (Achilles) misses out.

Player to watch: Michael Ricketts

The well-traveled front-man penned a one-year deal with Rovers in the summer and with power and strength will be a threat against the U’s.

Midfielder Kem Izzet serves the final game of a three-match suspension, against Rovers.

While star duo Pat Baldwin (leg) and Ashley Vincent (ankle) are both still out.

The game comes to soon for right-back Lee Beevers (shoulder) and fellow defender Paul Reid too.
