Colchester Manager Geriant Williams today confirmed the earlier reported interest in West Ham youngster Hogan Ephraim.
The rumour first surfaced earlier this week when the Sun Newspaper ran an article stating that Ephraim would be joining the U’s in January.
Williams, speaking to the clubs official website www.cu-fc.com said,’Hogan was with us last year and he is a player we liked a lot,’
‘We’re always looking to improve the squad and Hogan is a player who could do that.
‘He’s certainly one we are looking at.’
Ephraim, who has represented England at youth level, is yet to make a first team start for West Ham United.
