COLCHESTER UNITED travel to Hereford United today with a handful of first-teamers missing.

Target-man Clive Platt will miss out, once again, with his Nan still very ill in hospital. While fellow forward Steven Gillespie (ankle) is unavailable, along with Johnnie Jackson (hamstring) and Paul Reid (knee).

Diminutive midfielder David Perkins is still injured after hurting his knee against Leeds. Loanee Karl Hawley (hamstring) has returned to Preston, with Neal Trotman is set to return North after the game at Edgar Street.

However, good news for U’s is that Pat Baldwin should be fit for the game despite coming off against Brighton, on Monday. Centre back Matt Heath is also back following a groin problem sustained while out on loan.

Young midfielder Sam Corcoran is included in Paul Lambert’s squad once again.

Today’s opponents know that if they fail to win then they will be playing League Two football next season.

Febian Brandy, Richard Jackson, Dean Beckwith and Josh Gowling could all feature for the Bulls after missing out in recent matches. But Karl Broadhurst and Andy Williams will definitely miss out.

So are you expecting the U’s to return with three points? Or do you think a loss is on the cards?
