Young U’s youth product Anthony Wordsworth curls home a classy 82nd minute free-kick to earn late victory.

Thursday July 30th Ebbsfleet 1-1 U’s – Non-Leaguers Hold U’s

Recent-signing Joel Thomas nets first U’s goal but it is not enough to give his side a win.

Saturday August 1st – Rushden 1-1 U’s – Pre-Season Draws To Close

Lambert’s side end with second successive 1-1 draw against Blue Square Premier opponents.

  • Thanks. Yeah, some games we’ve really impressed in, others not so. Yep, really up for it, cant wait for the season to start! How’s your pre-season gone? 😀 Up the U’s!

  • We’re unbeaten in 8, including wins at Palace and against Wigan so are strangely optimistic. It’s a little…unnerving!
