Colchester United boss Geraint Williams will take a second look at triallist Akanni-Sunday Wasiu this afternoon.
The U’s, following a 4-0 triumph over Tiptree United on Wednesday, take on Heybridge Swifts at Scraley Road. Wasiu, a former St Ablans player, will be looking to impress, once again.
Meanwhile, Steven Gillespie, who netted hat-trick midweek, on his U’s bow, will not make the journey. The U’s record-signing will be rested after complaining of a tight calf in training.
Youngsters Jamie Wright, Sam Corcoran and Mitchell Nelson have been added to the squad as Williams takes a look at a few of his youth players.
