U`s Trail Marshall

Colchester United`s current situation between the sticks sees former Aston Villa and Norwich keeper Andy Marshall training with the club.

However, don`t expect the experienced man to sign straight away – at 35 and well-known in the area, Marshall could simply severe as cover until regularly established number one, Ben Williams, returns to fitness.

That`s especially likely for the foreseeable, since manager John Ward has been reticent on the question of handing Marshall a contract as competition for other goalie, Mark Cousins.
