Swindon 0-1 Colchester
2nd October 2012
19:45
County Ground

You wait all season for a win and then two of them come along in the space of a few days! Colchester won again on Tuesday night at in-form Swindon.

A nil-nil first half would have suited Colchester much more than the hosts Swindon, and this is what was managed at The County Ground.

One point became all three for The U’s when Michael Rose (70) struck a winner twenty-minutes from time to give Colchester a second successive win.

This 1-0 win maintained new manager Joe Dunne’s 100% record, and also inflicted only a second home defeat on Swindon in 14-months!
