Following the popularity of Ex-U`s XI feature this week, Vital Colchester has had a go at a best loans XI! Agree or disagree?

The main factors for selection are the player`s reputation and performances for the club, although there were so few choices that in some cases the selection is almost by default.

See if you agree or disagree with Vital Colchester United`s selections. If so, tell us why at the end of this article.

Feel free to comment or make other suggestions if you feel any player has been overlooked – that`s all part of the fun.

Adam Virgo (Brighton – U`s Loan 2007-8 from Celtic)

Remember– All dates are with the players, many of them now full-time, joined the club on loan. Without using players who later joined United permanently, there would not have been enough players to make a full eleven!

They must still be playing football for a club.

Credit should go to Vital Derby who inspired the original idea.
