Tickets for the home friendly against Premier League Aston Villa in July are already on sale.

There is a very small away allocation for the game, of just 1,760 as the club clearly don`t expect many to make the trip from the Midlands.

Kickoff is at 7.45pm and it takes place on Tuesday, July 21.

Tickets can be purchased from either of the town`s two club shop retail outlets or by phoning the office the usual number.

Tickets are a rather pricy fifteen pounds for adults or five pounds for those under ten.

Are YOU going to the Villa game, or is it just too expensive?

  • Maybe! The days of Colchester’s hidden gems might be over. We don’t have Neil Danns anymore, but maybe Medi Elito, who has a bad attitude, but is only a teenager. He was once wanted by Manchester United and suppoedly shown around the ground by SAF!

  • Na, not a lot of upcoming, highly-rated youngsters at the moment for the big clubs to grab!

  • That might be a good thing. Although it does make you wonder about Colchester’s investment in the future right now. There’s not really any PL quality in the time right now.
