Just days after the exciting news of internaional football at the Weston Homes Community Stadium was announced, tickets for the clash have now gone on sale.

The U’s 10,000 all-seater stadium was selected by the Football Accosiation for England’s potentially vital England Under-21 clash against Lithuania in the last group game of qualifying. Stuart Pearce’s side are all set to visit North Essex on the 7th, September for an unsual 4pm kick off.

Pearce said: ‘It’s a new ground for the U21s.

‘But Colchester United are a club on the up and I believe it’ll be a good time for us to go there.’


Tickets are now on sale, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
