Colchester United transfer target Hogan Ephraim is close to joining fellow Championship strugglers, Queens Park Rangers in a permanent deal, according to a report in yesterday’s Daily Mail.
The West Ham ace, 19, spent six-months at Layer Road last season, where he made over 20 first-team appearances, becoming a real fans` favourite.
He joined QPR, on a three-month loan deal, back in August and has also impressed, scoring against the U`s back in October.
The talented England youth international was subject of a £500k bid from Colchester last month, but rejected the chance to re-join the Essex side in favour of staying at Upton Park and fighting for a first-team spot.
Now it is believed that QPR manager Luigi De Canio is close to completing a deal for the nippy winger.

Do you reckon he will go there when he turned down us?
Started slowly but it was a shame when he had to go back to West Ham.
We’re led to believe he’s coming back in January permanently too.
Other than money, it will mean he can stay in London. Good lad and a great prospect!
Yeah, legend…
Done deal I expect
Yeah I would think so
