Colchester Manager Geriant Williams was disappointed at his teams poor first half performance away to West Brom on Saturday.

Wiliams said,’we caused them problems in the second half, however by then we had given ourselves a mountain to climb’

Williams explained that a long and frank discussion was held at half time and everyone agreed that they must do better.

Adding,’I thought the players put all the things we planned to do into the game and we were unlucky not to come out of it with a point, we had by then given ourselves too much to do’
