Colchester manager Geraint Williams reckons Walsall defender Daniel Fox would be a great addition to the side, if he can agree personal terms.
Fox, 21, was subject of a £300,000 bid from Leeds, which was rejected. If the U`s bid, currently undisclosed, exceeds that, then the Essex club will break their transfer record for the third time inside of a week, having already signed Phil Iffil and Chris Coyne.
Of Fox, a former Everton trainee, Williams said in the EADT: “Daniel Fox is a player of quality on the ball, and at the age of 21 we consider him to be a promising player for the future. He’s a good athlete.”
Fox, whose future is in the balance after Colchester’s bid was accepted on Saturday, is yet to sign.

yeah seems to be very highly-rated and at a fee of around 350k would be a good signing.
