Wolves could be preparing a double swoop to take Clive Platt and George Elokobi to bolster their squad, according to today`s Express and Star.
The paper does not suggest any potential fee, only mentioning that want-away full-back Elokobi is a “long-standing” target, while also printing on their website that striker Platt has “caught the eye” of staff at Molineux.
While Elokobi is expected to leave, it would be a shock to see Platt exit after his seven goals in twenty starts this term.
That is an impressive effort, given that he only made the leap from League Two to the Championship last summer, but Wolves are his home-town club.

What?!?!?!? Elokobi is no shock, but them tracking Platt?!? Well they have signed Ebanks-Blake today, would be interesting to see how much Wolves would be prepared to pay for Clive. It was League 2 Platt leaped from so even better.
I know! I think that the Platt link is just creative journalism, although if the U’s were offered £600,000, say, and could find a younger version to replace him, they’d have to take it!
Yeah ur right it would give us a 300k profit. Can’t see it happening, On Vitla Wolves forum it says they have bid for two target men, one could be Platt.
